To complement what has been posted so far, I was able to obtain the.exe and.xml files (among other things) for the latest version (Insite 3.7) and download those on a completely different machine - and, indeed, install them successfully.
I'm running Windows 8.1.
In my case, however, the instructions provided above (about updating the.dlls) appear to be wrong. And I can't understand why.
I don't know if it's relevant, but my PC (Dell XPS M1330) appears to be missing certain files required by Insite. It has 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, and 3.7, but, as far as I can tell, it doesn't have at least 1.3 or 3.7.
For future reference, here are the files that I had to install manually:
Insite.dll 1.4
Insite.dll 1.5
Insite.dll 3.7
If you want to install the old version, this should work:
Insite.dll 1.35
